My name is Dr. Diana Tran-Kim and I am an obstetrician gynecologist, which means my niche of medicine is Women’s health. Recently, I have opened my own office at OhBloomGyn in Orange County with Dr. Viet Anh Be.

This has been a goal of mine to provide preventive, compassionate medical care for women in all stages of their lives from teens to reproductive years to the transition to menopause. Every step is full of challenges and I hope to help patient maneuver through this.

So who is Dr. Diana Tran-Kim? I was born in Québec, Canada where my parents were refugees from the Vietnam war. Education has always been the center of my family values so I pursued my medical dream as a career at a very young age.

I grew up near Montreal, Canada and moved to Texas where I attended high school and college. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a double major in Biology and French from Houston Baptist University. Apart from English, I am fluent in French and Vietnamese.

I attended medical school in West Virginia at WVSOM and did my Obstetric/Gynecology residency training in Brooklyn, NY. I continued to work in Manhattan, NY as staff faculty at New York University and Lenox Hill hospitals.

My medical background is founded on the principles of osteopathic medicine in which the belief of helping the whole body to be in good health in order to maximize the body’s own healing is key.

I enjoy spending time with my family which comprises of my wonderful husband and three kids. We love doing outdoor activities such as running, hiking, snowboarding, and scuba diving.

Fun fact, I participated in a documentary in 2013 about pregnancy along with thirteen mothers called 40 Weeks, which premiered at the Angelika Theater in New York City.
